New logo for a great group of dudes.

I made this “font” last night for fun. It is in no way perfect. I’m no expert on type design. It’s just something I like to do.

So I’m doing volunteer work for a park by my house. They have a small skate park. Well its a manual pad, fly box and rail. Not exactly a park. But its fun. It sits behind a school. So its packed. They asked me to organize an event for the upcoming Fall Harvest Fest at the park. I worked with a local skateshop (Homage Brooklyn) to get some good people to show up. We are not calling it a demo. Its A Festival of skateboarding! Its just gonna be a bunch of people skating this fun little park and hanging out.

One of our goals is to get more families interested in skateboarding. This Fest will hopefully show them that skateboarding is good thing for their kids to get involved in. You can build life long friendships through skating. (My best friends are the dudes I skated with) It also, for the most part, keeps kids from getting into real trouble. And the park gives them a place to go and be themselves amongst their peers.

So I’m not gonna keep rambling, cause Im no writer. Here’s a little flyer I made for the event.
